And somehow in all my post-game scrambling for details I forgot this, but that's okay because it deserves a post of its own.

THE ASTROS ARE WITHIN ONE GAME OF .500! Yes, that would be the sadsack Houston team who, at one point, had a worse record than the Devil Rays. For, like, a day, but still. They were there.

AND NOW THEY ARE BACK. GO ASTROS.

ROY MADE THE ALL-STAR TEAM!!! im so happy. i was at the game tonight and they announced it on the big screen and then it showed oswalt in the dugout and everyone was jumping on him and patting him on the back and then he came out for like 2 seconds to wave to the crowd and it was so cool to watch. i hope the 'stros sweep the padres.
