RAR.

Joe Torre thinks that maybe, just maybe, Sean Henn is "not ready for the big leagues."

WELL NO FUCKING SHIT HE'S NOT READY YOU STUPID DOUCHEBAG. You pulled his ass out of Double A to cover for Randy Johnson, then sent him to Triple A, then yanked him back up to cover for Kevin Brown in Yankee Stadium. A kid who started the season in Double A ball not ready to play in the highest pressure situation in the Major League, ie, pitching for the newly craptastic Yankees? NO WAY I DON'T BELIEVE IT.

That just fucking kills me. If I could give Sean Henn a big hug right now, I would. It's not his fault that the Yankees have depleted their farm system so badly that they were forced to pull a kid from Double freaking A when they needed pitching, and it's not fair to fuck with him like this. I really, really hope they haven't permanently fucked up his confidence and his career.

He said, "I am still confident. I can get guys out. I'm not going to go hide in a hole and think my stuff is not good enough," which I think is awesome and I hope is true and I really hope they send him back down to a level he can work in and build himself up.

I'm still holding out hope that they will trade Cano and Wang for Roger Clemens, because a) then the Astros would have Cano and Wang, and b) HAHAHA learn your lesson much, guys? And I do not fear the prospect of Clemens pitching for the Yankees because then they would have ONE reliable starter, and that's only if Clemens kept it together and did not fall victim to whatever the hell weird malaise is going around that clubhouse.

Too bad it's probably not gonna happen; last I heard, Clemens was mentioning the Ragers as a possibility. He probably got a look at the Yankees' numbers and went, "Yeah, nevermind."

That's not to say they won't still find some other way to rid themselves of Cano and Wang. Why would they want to keep two of the most productive members of the team, anyway?
