RAR.

Joe Torre thinks that maybe, just maybe, Sean Henn is "not ready for the big leagues."

WELL NO FUCKING SHIT HE'S NOT READY YOU STUPID DOUCHEBAG. You pulled his ass out of Double A to cover for Randy Johnson, then sent him to Triple A, then yanked him back up to cover for Kevin Brown in Yankee Stadium. A kid who started the season in Double A ball not ready to play in the highest pressure situation in the Major League, ie, pitching for the newly craptastic Yankees? NO WAY I DON'T BELIEVE IT.

That just fucking kills me. If I could give Sean Henn a big hug right now, I would. It's not his fault that the Yankees have depleted their farm system so badly that they were forced to pull a kid from Double freaking A when they needed pitching, and it's not fair to fuck with him like this. I really, really hope they haven't permanently fucked up his confidence and his career.

He said, "I am still confident. I can get guys out. I'm not going to go hide in a hole and think my stuff is not good enough," which I think is awesome and I hope is true and I really hope they send him back down to a level he can work in and build himself up.

Yeah, kinda like when we brought Cla Meredith up and he got his ass handed to him a couple of times. Poor kid.

Aw, Cla, with his eight bazillion ERA and strangely truncated name. *pets Cla* Yeah, that sucked for him, but at least we had the luxury of sending him back down to where he needs to be, because we haven't traded away every single young player in our system.

Meanwhile, the Daily News is telling me some interesting things (http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/baseball/story/322668p-275858c.html) about how Jaret Wright may well be out for the season, plus a passing mention of how Randy Johnson might be injured, too. Poor Sean may not be able to get out of the line of fire any time soon.

Wow, they would be so screwed. What are they going to do if they need to trade for a starting pitcher? I would laugh my ass off if they corrupt the future of the organization even further by trading away Cano and/or Wang.

I'm still holding out hope that they will trade Cano and Wang for Roger Clemens, because a) then the Astros would have Cano and Wang, and b) HAHAHA learn your lesson much, guys? And I do not fear the prospect of Clemens pitching for the Yankees because then they would have ONE reliable starter, and that's only if Clemens kept it together and did not fall victim to whatever the hell weird malaise is going around that clubhouse.

Too bad it's probably not gonna happen; last I heard, Clemens was mentioning the Ragers as a possibility. He probably got a look at the Yankees' numbers and went, "Yeah, nevermind."

That's not to say they won't still find some other way to rid themselves of Cano and Wang. Why would they want to keep two of the most productive members of the team, anyway?

Oh yeah, that system is in absolute tatters. However, this gives the NY Daily plenty of opportunity to use the 'Henn lays egg' headlines, and we can all benefit from that. :)

*pets Sean Henn* Why is it that I feel so protective of him, but will seriously cry if I ever have to look at Ledezma again? How unfair of me is that?
