peaseblossom03. Peasey, the guys.
So my friend Rikki picked up my dress for me over the weekend, as I had arranged to get it at an event that I ended up not being able to go to, but Rikki was. I'm sorry, I can't think of a way to fit all that information in one sentence and still have it make sense. Rikki also happens to dabble in seamstres - uh, needlewomaning, so she hemmed the pieces up for me today, too. Is v. pretty. I v. just in the nick of time, too, since the wedding is Sunday. At least, I'm pretty sure it is. I confused myself badly a couple of weeks ago, but I think I'm all straightened out now.
Okay. I have: Dress, shoes, earrings borrowed from mother, and plans about what to make for potluck reception. I need: A way to get there.
Always with the minor details. Sigh.
Anyway, I also need to go to bed, so in conclusion, a little meme.
We are TEH COOL.

I'm not sure, but the verb you seek may be "tailoring". Or else "making stuff". Ha ha. I wanted to stop in her shop, but my young charge was having none of it. Clothes hanging on the hook just don't interest her. Her favorite shop was the toys and games store, where she got a recorder and a chess board (the former taking lots of negotiating on her part), followed by the shop that had all the leather pouches, deer-horn buttons, drinking horns, and deer-horn whistles. Which was probably my favorite too.
Yes, it's this Sunday. Arrrrgh! Oops, I mean, squeeee!
