Know what's a weird show? Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends. It's this animated series that ran for three seasons in the early eighties. Spider-Man's "Amazing Friends" are Iceman and Firestar. I watch it with Betsey when I get a chance; it's just so bad. And it's fun to watch Betsey be mortally offended by the fact that they've made Bobby Drake (Iceman) blond. This, it seems, is a bad thing.
That's, uh . . . that's about it, really. Not much has happened over the past two days. Slept till almost eleven this morning for the first time in about two months. Got up in time to catch the end of Miss Congeniality. Wasn't impressed and couldn't see any difference between Sandra's MC character and her Speed character. Worked for about three hours yesterday at my other job, Figaro's Pizza. Made a grand total of two and a half pizzas, because business is bad. Except "bad" doesn't really cover how business is. Spent way too much time last night surfing Spidey websites (oh god, there is just no way to avoid that awful pun, is there?). Found a great one, Spidey Kicks Butt, wtih some in-depth articles exploring various characters and storylines, with a particular focus on Norman Osborn/Green Goblin since he's the site owner's favourite character. Plus, the site owner is a long-term fanboy, so this is the real stuff here.
That's really about it. Hoping to get out to the local comic store, Casablanca, sometime this week. The end.
