Ha. I was so caught up in craziness when posting last night that I forgot entirely about the madly happy exciting thing that happened yesterday.

Last year in March, shortly after Willard came out, Entertainment Weekly did an article on Crispin Glover. When I learned of it, I determined that I must read it.

So you'd think that such an article would have been long since pirated onto a fansite, right? WRONG. You'd think that a library that subscribes to EW would have a back issue, right? WRONG. I couldn't find the damn thing anywhere. So I'd resigned myself to this, and a couple of weeks ago was idly skimming through my friends list when this paragraph from [livejournal.com profile] j_crew_guy caught my eye.

"[livejournal.com profile] catslash, I scored a bunch of Entertainment Weekly issues at a library sale. One of them has a three - four page article on Crispin Glover. You want?"

I will spare you my hysterical fangirl enthusiasm. Suffice it to say that my reply roughly boiled down to, "Yes, please!"

So I got my magazine in the mail yesterday (in this awesome violent green bubblewrap envelope), and the article is lovely. It doesn't really say anything that any die-hard fan doesn't already know (Crispin sued over BttF2? You don't say. Crispin aimed a kick at David Letterman's head? Been there, quoted that), but since it wasn't written for die-hard fans, that's just fine. It's a very fair article that attempts to show and discuss Crispin's famous oddness without lampooning him for it. (Much.)

So thank you, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, Charles!! I saved several of the Bruce pictures you linked, and I have Plans. =D I shall put my meager iconing skills to work as a way of emphasizing my thanks.

And since no one else seems to have bothered to type it up and put it out there, maybe I will. =P

Oh, and speaking of odd, here's a little something for all you Democrats out there: [livejournal.com profile] johnxjohn. It's a tongue-in-cheek John Kerry/John Edwards OTP community. Yeah, I don't know. 'Sfunny, though.
