Just a quick post to letcha all know that I am alive and successfully moved. Not in the mood for one of my usual lengthy posts. Just know that I had a good weekend celebrating my birthday (was barely hungover at all Saturday!), and was thoroughly entertained by that Friday the 13th flick. It was my first low-rent eighties slasher movie; who knew that all those jokes I'd heard about the conventions and stupidities of the genre weren't exaggerated in the least?

Monica and I once spent a Saturday morning watching it. And eating. Popcorn, macaroni and cheese, ice cream, pretzels, nachos, you name it. And of course, giggling hysterically. As I recall, we ended up muting it at certain parts and making up our own disgusting dialogue.
You just made me nostalgic for a Kevin Bacon movie, damn you.
But on the upside, he did die in it.
Terrible slasher films involving camp counselors rule!
