I am done with my shopping. Yay! Now I have to wrap everything. Boo! I strongly dislike wrapping gifts. Especially when I have stuff that's weird shapes. Of course, I'm not very good at it anyway, so even a perfectly reasonable rectangle can be a poser. But after they're wrapped, I get to give them to people. Yay! I love the shopping and figuring out what people will like, and I love the giving, so I guess I can accept the wrapping as a necessary evil. =)

I watched Reality Bites last night. Loved it. I found the cast, particularly Winona Ryder and Ethan Hawke, to be unreal pretty; I found that I actually kind of like Ben Stiller when he isn't humiliating himself for our "amusement;" and it even gave me the first satisfactory definition of "irony" I've heard (when the real meaning of something is the opposite of the literal meaning). Am even holding on to it to watch it again.

Once again you manage to say what I'm thinking about stuff. This time, wrapping gifts.

It's even more um, "fun" when you have to try and deal with cats who decide that "Hey, that paper looks like something that should be attacked, run over, and played with!" Double the frustration and double the time.

That's why the cat doesn't get to help. Though when I spend time with my mom on Christmas Eve wrapping gifts, I'm sure her cats will be overjoyed to assist. *g*

Heee.

And Ben Stiller? He used to be funny. I mean, when his entire career wasn't based on humiliating himself for our amusement. Check out the Ben Stiller Show sometime to see what I mean.

I might just do that. RB made me see him in the light of "Hey, maybe this guy really is funny."

Oh, and: *quick kiss under the mistletoe icon* =D

OK, I love you even more than usual today. Because I too hate wrapping gifts and love Reality Bites. And I heartily second the recommendation on The Ben Stiller Show. I will be dropping major cash when that bitch comes out on DVD next year. Funniest. Show. Ever.

I hate airlines. Hate hate hate them. How is it legal for them to charge ungodly amounts for flights taking off at reasonable hours, and yet they can charge decent fares for flights on the same day that leave at 5:30 a.m? Fuckers. No wonder everyone clogs up the roadways on holidays nowadays. Who wants to deal with airlines' bullshit?

I love you too. Whichever one of three or four possible people you may be.

Of course. It's just that that particular message sounded like it could have been written by any one of several non-LJ friends of mine, so I got confused. *g*

Actually, the Ben Stiller Show is on DVD now. Came out a couple weeks ago. So very very cool to have all 13 episodes with commentaries (on selected eps), looks at the early versions of the Ben Stiller Show, deleted sketches, outtakes and more. Such a great show.
