Note to self: Don't post drunk again. While I resisted the urge to delete the whole post, I did do a little selective editing.

Spirited Away, incidentally, is the perfect movie to watch while sobering up. It's incredibly bizarre, so you have no choice but to simply sit back and acept it for what it is. It made perfect sense while I was drunk, and by the ending, when I was mostly sober, I could remember what I'd watched and follow it all just fine. I'll have to rent it and watch the entire thing.

Health tip: Hiccupping while lying down when your stomach's so full of water it's actually turgid from numerous failed attempts to cure said hiccups is really bad for your esophagus. Ow.

Heh. Yeah, posting/chatting when drunk can be dangerous. It can seem fun at the time, but when you sober up and re-read? 9 times out of 10 it's not good.

Sorry for being away for such a long stretch. I've been fighting various combinations of illnesses and having a hard time staying awake long enough to check in at my favorite websites. But I'm here now, obviously, despite the respiratory infection that is currently threatening to expel my lungs from my body through my throat.

Oh yeah, and seeing how you're a full-fledged Red Sox fan and all, how about that Curt Schilling? Yankees suck!

Yick. Poor Hoedogg. *gives chicken soup* And if you don't like chicken soup, that's fine, 'cos this is virtual chicken soup and it can taste like anything you want it to. =D

As for Schilling, well, I know nothing about him, but the fact that everyone is treating this like a serious coup (and his cheerful public declaration of his newfound Yankees hate) is enough for me. Yay! Can't wait to see him in action. Is it April yet?

And have we heard anything new since the announcement like two weeks ago that Andy Pettitte was going to meet with the Sox? I like Pettitte and would like to hear the final announcement that the Yanks have paid him a squillion dollars to stay with them so I can let go of this foolish hope already.

I don't expect Pettite to leave the Evil Empire anytime soon, but if he does, I doubt he'll end up with the Sox. Plenty of Sox seem to end up with the Yankees, but it rarely seems to go the other way for whatever reason.

Oh, and thanks for the peanut butter and chocolate-flavored chicken soup! ;)
