Oh, man. Last night's episode of Angel was so stupid it nearly killed my waning interest in the show. Seriously.
"Los Hermanos Numeros"? I wish I remembered how to say "bite me" in Spanish.

I found out last night that they're making a movie of the Series of Unfortunate Events series. Cool. Timothy Spall as Mr Poe? Cooool. Jude Law as Lemony Snicket himself? Very cool. Jim Carrey as Count Olaf? Co - wait, what? Who as WHO?? Not cool. Staggeringly not cool. So not cool that I would cry, but I'm too busy vomiting. UGH. Anyone who's read any of the books will comprehend how intrinsically WRONG this is.

In other news, What I Have Learned So Far About NaNoWriMo: Start planning months in advance. Because I? Have nothing. Not even the ghost of an idea. Not even enough for a sentence. I'll have to do a lot of advance planning and outlining next year if I want to participate seriously.

Yeah, "Los Hermanos Numeros" was a major misstep. Too bad I slept through the Halloween episode last week. It may have been lousy too, but at least it sounds like it had some fun moments.

I'll do all I can to encourage you for NaNoWriMo, but I can feel your idea-free pain. I can't even bring myself to finish chapters of my work-in-progress fanfics anymore, let alone come up with new shit. Ah well. You have plenty of time.

...what's a Lemony Snicket? *puzzled*

A Lemony Snicket is a psuedonymical (is it too a word - well, it is now) author who - oh, just click the link. Or, read the books. =)

On a scale of wrongness, would you rate this above or below Jim Carrey as the six million dollar man? (http://www.scifi.com/scifiwire/art-main.html?2003-10/23/10.00.film)

Why are they putting him in things outside his field? WHY?

Uhmm . . . I'm not sure. Whatever, I just wish he would go away. Or hook back up with the Farrelly brothers so poor Matt Damon is off the hook.

I love A Series of Unfortunate Events to no end, so I *really* hope the movie doesn't crash and burn. I mean, Daniel Handler's writing the screenplay, so it can't be *that* bad, but... Jim Carrey?! Have you seen him in People mag with his head shaved so that he can wear a wig for the role? Erm. I have my doubts.

Anyway. Hi. I found your LJ while I was looking up things related to my latest obsession: Pirates of the Caribbean. Nice to meet ya!
