Doctor Who!

* They totes should have ended up on Miranda. I would love to see the Doctor's reaction to the Death Prozac. And how he would deal with Reavers.

* Dear Doctor Who: I will not love a character just because you tell me to. In fact, telling me to will make me hate them. And the more you tell, the more I hate.

Thus: Man, did I hate Christina. I would have liked her just fine if the script didn't INSIST that I LOVE HER OMG. But it shoved that bullshit so hard down my throat that I'll be coughing up brown for a week. Thank god she was just a one-shot character. I would not be pleased to have to deal with another round of that.

* On the other hand: MORE MALCOLM TAYLOR PLEASE. I loved him. So much. He was awesome. "I love you!" ad infinitum was a bit overdone, but the rest of the stuff with him was really fun both and well-written and well-acted. Even if he was a clear stand-in for The Fans. I mean, really, UNIT must have its share of fanboys. Malcolm's going to be able to drink for free with that story for the rest of his life.

* Subtle Foreshadowing in Psychic Form: "He will knock four times"? Excellent, it will be lovely to see the Master again.

I hated Lady Christina de Cliche. The fact that she just dumped her partner in crime at the beginning really wouldn't bode well for the Doctor if they did team up long-term.

And I hated Malcolm Taylor, largely because I hate Lee Evans. Also, Who has done so much to rehabilitate the Welsh stereotype that it was infuriating to see it trotted out again.

Ooh, I did not think of that. Hmm. She would need him to drive the TARDIS, though. So she wouldn't be able to ditch him too hard.

Ah. See, I have no clue about Welsh stereotypes, so I just thought he was an awesome spazzy mad-scientist type.
