Wooo! Payday! I made more than I thought, so I have plenty of money to give to Dad and I indulged myself in the sole remaining Red Sox cap to be found at the Irving station. In the spirit of Halloween, I briefly entertained the idea of purchasing the Yankees cap, but decided that Yankees Fan is too scary a costume for me to handle.

And now for your daily dose of irony: I stopped in at Rite-Aid, too, and donated a dollar to a diabetes foundation they're collecting for. My reward for good citizenship? A nice big handful of candy. The cashier thought it was funny, too.

By the way - a big welcome to Amanda! She has succeeded in securing an LJ account, [livejournal.com profile] manderspander, and need no longer languish at Blurty. Hooray!

. . . FUCK. Tru Calling. Eliza Dushku's new show, debuted yesterday and I MISSED IT. I've been looking forward to it forever! This episode had Hudson Leick in it too, and I've never seen her play a non-psycho before (ie, anyone other than her character on Xena.) Dammit dammit. Oh, well. Next week.

It was a good show, actually. Better than I expected. Definitely catch a rerun, if you can. Plus, Eliza = teh hott.

Mmm. Eliza always = teh hott. Why do you think I want to watch the show? For its unique and daring premise? By "unique and daring" I of course mean "only been done by five or so other scifi shows."
