I love having neighbors who don't lock down their wireless connections. Don't you? And yes, I tried earlier, but I kind of forgot to disconnect from my own modem first. Since this area is not rife with ISPs, I suspect that my internet did get shut down for non-payment. Guess I sent the check a day or two too late. I'll get reconnected when they get it, though.

In the meantime, I am supremely thankful because e-mail is the only contact I have with my instructor about that damned final. My roommate does have internet, but she's on her computer frequently (she's a web designer, which, how cool a career is that for a woman in her sixties?) and I wasn't looking forward to bugging her twenty times a day about checking my e-mail.

In the meantime, I think I will keep myself scarce tonight. I am tired from my ridiculous day and not much in the mood to, like, do stuff. Gail, you might want to throw a placeholder up just in case. I don't have the brainpower for much by way of RP tonight.

So I'm just gonna sit back and binge on those Supernatural DVDs that I rented earlier (sorry, Glenda, I cracked, but there'll be plenty I won't have seen yet, not to worry) and let my brain stay shut off.

WHICH, by the way, question for the Supernatural fans on the flist. That shot in the pilot of John in the nursery, approximately .005 seconds away from being burned to a crisp - something I should remember or a production fuck-up? Because I can go either way. And yes this does mean I'm hooked. They had me at "He gave me a forty-five. I was nine!"

Aw, no worries on the scene. We got time. We fly through those things, anyway >.> If they post a time-change warning before we get to it, we can placeholder it, but I'm not terribly concerned ^^

Did you get ahold of said prof, at all?

Someday I will actually watch one of these interesting shows people keep talking about... ... or not. I hardly watch any of the movies/shows I already have >.>

Yeah, we probably will get it in there in time, but the scene with Jocelyn has gotten interesting, and I hesitate to start another before I'm done with that.

Not yet. I'm hoping to hear from him tomorrow.

I'm not 100% sure of which part of the scene you're talking about. If you're talking about the part where he's standing in the dark when Mary comes up and asks if he's hungry and he says "Shhh", then yes, it's very important for later. IF you're talking about a little later in the scene, just as he's looking up to see the fire start, then no.

That's what I thought. There was a shot where it looked as though the fire was about the swallow him up, to the point where I went, "Oh, he's roasted - oh, no, he's on the car. Huh." Of course, JDM is why I was watching in the first place, so I kinda brushed it off and assumed that either it would come up later or the FX guys had gotten kinda excited.
