Yay for school computers with fully functioning keyboards!

I called a local Apple-authorized place to make an appointment to have my Mac looked at, which will be a couple of weeks. I'm also gonna schlep the computer out to Circuit City this afternoon to see what's what. With any luck, my plan with them will cover repairs, and I'll, uh, be computerless for a bit while they work on it. Yay luck?

So, yeah. The point of this post is to let folks know who need to know that I may not be around tonight, and if not, tomorrow I should hopefully be able to post from school with an idea of how long I'll be MIA. The timing is not thrilling, but then, it never is.

Even if I can get the PC repaired faster and free(r) than the Mac, I think I'll have it looked at anyway. If I could get monthly payments on repair costs that would work, and have I mentioned how much I miss it? Plus, having two working computers would be really nice and provide definite peace of mind in terms of future problems. It would also make me feel rich and spoiled. :D

Getting the computer fixed is always nice. My Dell was giving me headaches because of a motherboard issue and they came and fixed it at my apartment in about a week....but that was after about 6 months of fighting over a canceled warranty (which I never authorized) and having to buy another warranty out of my own pocket. But hopefully they are speedy and get you up and running again soon! Good luck!
