catslash: (not mad)
([personal profile] catslash Jun. 18th, 2007 08:48 pm)
So like a week ago, I offered to take pictures of stuff. [livejournal.com profile] offspeed asked for a picture of me in my Joey Harrington Lions jersey. I took my time because, well, I had to get to the laundromat first.

This is a much better picture of me. Just to soothe my ego a bit.

Heh. Not so much for the smiling for the camera, apparently. I didn't do it on purpose, I swear.

*looks at random username that has popped up for the second time in the past three days* (*also remembers to go back and reply to the last comment*)

*mutters, "Who the hell is this?", as this journal is not generally found by random people I have never seen before*

Dude! You got a journal! You have succumbed to the LJ Side of the Force! Welcome! Consider yourself friended and also added to my AIM buddy list. LJ is pleasant and cozy if you keep to the right spots, just like any other social network.

I got the jersey wicked cheap (surprise) on eBay, intended primarily to be worn as a joke for the Thanksgiving Day game. (Welcome to my sense of humor.) Except it kind of grew on me, so now I wear it a lot. It qualifies as exactly the sort of bizarre shirt I like to wear - you know that there is no one else wandering around Maine with a Harrington Lions jersey.

And we could fully save the world. Somehow.

Yes it is a dark and dreary day, but I am on Livejournal. I just want to see what's doin' in the basic Sox and Tigers communities, y'know? And bitch in a forum not yet found by my parents or by people who expect actual 'worthwhile' writing. So... sorry? :P

.... see, I have a Joey jersey from his days in th'D, and I wore it TO the Thanksgiving Day game. I'm not sure what that makes me. Delusional?

Hmm. See, in Maine, it's funny. In Detroit, especially the stadium, I think it's just sort of sad.

Yeah, I had a look at your entries so far. You will enjoy having a place to rant about non-sporty stuff. It's a nice outlet.
