ARGH INTERNETS.

Yes. So the storm yesterday was so bad that it pretty much killed the cable in my region. And since I have cable internet - yeah. Boo. So, that's why I couldn't be around yesterday, and as of this morning I don't think my internet was back, so I have no idea if it'll be back in time for me to be around tonight either. That fails on many, many levels. At least the Internets are working on campus so I can post. Though I did think it was really funny when I called Time Warner for information and the automated message referred to it as an "extreme emergency situation." Yes. The lack of Road Runner and HBO is an EXTREME EMERGENCY. Why, it's almost as dangerous as losing power for an extended amount of ti - oh, wait. NO IT'S NOT. Get a grip, Time Warner.

So, we'll see what happens.

OH AND WHILE I AM POSTING. [livejournal.com profile] aloha_moira is the awesome. She sent me this cute little Alan Trammell pin from 1984 that she found randomly while poking around. Dude, I love it. It lives on my sweatshirt and gives me extra Tigers fan cred. *g* Thank you so much!

Our flickered in and out yesterday.

Which was annoying.

By which I mean 'Not an emergency.'

Oh, Time Warner. Extreme emergency? Way to be. I wish I had a "rolling my eyes" icon. Hee hee.

BTW when you do get the Internets back, I'll tell you all about Vance and Joel's big fight. Which got physical. :P
