Today I am finally unearthing my bedroom. And I mean that damn near literally. My sense of "acceptable living space" is, uhm, not like most peoples'. For example, I do not have a trash can. I have a trash corner in my room, where the giant heap lives and eventually grows to swallow a quarter of my small space. Plus, my stuff is not so much "stored" as "sitting around." I honestly don't know where the fuck to put most of it. It is all a bit confusing and overwhelming. My mom keeps saying she'll help me get organized, but that never happens.
So today I am clearing out several months' worth of papers and odds and ends and the occasional (empty! I'm not that gross) fast food container, because my overhead light is busted and it would probably be good for the electrician to have room to move around, yes? And when it is done, I will be amazed at the space I have to actually walk around in, and I will resolve to keep my trash tidy and dispose of it each week on trash day, except that will totally never happen and in four months I'll be doing this all over again. I just don't pay attention. It doesn't bother me like it would most people.
Yep, so, there's that bit of More Than You Wanted to Know Theatre. I should probably stick to baseball ramblings and anecdotes about my alarmingly awful English instructor. Of course, to do that I would have to get and STAY in the habit of POSTING.

I used to joke that I heard a rumor that I had a blak rug... I do have a black rug, and I used to miss it. It is so hard to keep my room clean, but it is a condition in living in my house.

If you don't have a trash can, what do you do with the more perishable waste?
