Hah, I'm watching bits of that on WGN as I unpack and organize. I heard the announcers mention 'no baserunners' around the 5th, but was not listening closely enough to tell if they meant it literally or just, well, nearly no baserunners.

I'm enough of a pitcher fangirl to want almost anyone who has a NH/PG bid to succeed, though. And Garcia still counts as one of my boys even if he plays for the Wrong Sox now, 'cause he's an ex-Mariner.

In my case it's not so much that I bear any grudge against the White Sox as simply that nearly every other team in the division is ahead of them in my priorities. Except maybe Cleveland. My opinion on White Sox-Indians games tends to be based on the current standings. (I'd go Tigers, Royals, Twins, except that the Royals would only make me sad if I actually rated them second in my affections, which are half love of underdogs and half that my dad grew up in KC -- watching the A's, natch -- anyway.) But Garcia is still one of my boys, and JI
