Why did I not know that Alan Embree signed with San Diego (he's listed as a non-roster invitee)? And what is with all the damn Red Sox going out West? Embree, Bellhorn, Mueller, Mirabelli, Garciaparra, Lowe, eighteen guys I'm probably not remembering right now - in there gold in them thar hills or what?

Nahh, it's just that LA and SD are in a fierce competition of "Who can get the most 2003-2005 Red Sox alumni on one team" Meanwhile SF and AZ sit back and laugh their asses off. And Colorado still continues to suck.
