Bleargh. The wireless connection I was, uh, borrowing hasn't worked for me since yesterday afternoon. Computer says I'm connected, but I can't get anywhere. I've got Time Warner coming next Friday to hook me up, and I know from experience with that connection that it goes in and out, so I may still be around and will keep trying. Plus, this time around I at least have a computer, and the Dunkin Donutseseses in my area provide free wireless, so I'm certainly better off than I was last month.
At any rate, as far as fake!world goes (the rest of you who don't know what I'm talking about may feel free to skip to the next entry on your f-list now) I will of course keep trying to come on, since y'all need me to help keep our plot moving, but I can't guarantee anything for the next week. Stupid moving upheaval. I kind of wish I'd called Time Warner earlier, but not really, because the rep I talked to told me that as of yesterday, they chopped the reconnect fee in half, so if I'd called right away like I meant to, I'd be paying thirty-three dollars instead of fifteen. Anyway, sorry about all this, and I do hope it comes back, because I hate the thought of wasting what little offseason we have left.
