Hey! Don't be dissin' on the Macs. I've had each of my Macs for over five years, and never needed any major repairs. *knocks on wood* I take that back. My newest Mac is two years old. I've been using Macs since 1989, though...and I think the worst thing that's gone wrong is the logic board on one of them after six years.
Here's hoping that maybe it's not too much to fix...maybe just a loose wire or something.
Blargh. Sucks a Vance Wilson lot, that does. Y'need to get that sucker fixed up, m'dear, the internet is bland without you. Quite frankly I don't know how you handle it; I would have probably gone mad by now.
