By the way, since I've turned my attention to figuring out what to buy for others (immediate family only this year, I'm afraid, and even that much only because my grandparents insisted on giving me money to shop with, bless them) and giving others ideas for me (yes, Grandma, socks really would be appreciated, no seriously, and here's the kind I like best), I thought I'd offer a tip for anyone on here who knows me IRL and has no idea what to get me:
Paid journal time, please! Mine expires next month and I'm not sure yet if I'll be able to renew it in time. We'll see how my finances balance out.
This isn't a veiled plea to the f-list in general or anything. It's just that I like to help people who want to get me something but don't know what, because we all know how frustrating trying to come up with something can be. I always appreciate someone telling me, "I want this." It's one less gift idea to struggle with. So if you wanted to buy for me, you needed help, and you read this, here you are. Check me off on your list. =)
Again, broke, and my friends are pretty much getting hugs for Christmas, but if anyone has any simple icon requests or anything, let me know and I'll see what I can come up with. My iconing skills are pretty basic, so no fancy filtering or animations or anything, but I like to think I can still give good icon if anyone's interested (above is a random example of what I can do). Just give me an idea or an image or whatever and I'll run with it.

Yeah, this year we've decided to ESCHEW THE FOUL SPIRIT OF MATERIALISM!! BACK! BACK I SAY, FELL BEAST OF THE CAPITALIST SYSTEM!!! BLAH!
