Okay. Being as my previous journal "layout" (by which I mean the title and default icon, because wow I lose at layout knowledge) was inspired by last year's postseason and the way it ended, it seemed appropriate to change it again. So, if you like, click over and take a look. I changed the default layout and tweaked colors and links and everything. As for the emotastic title ganked from what may be the most clichéd line in any song released this year: Last night, standing in line at work to buy some coffee and swimming in a haze of shock, I heard this song and thought how perfect that line was. My boys went down swinging.

Ugh, and I still don't want to think about last night, and I can find other things to occupy my time, because guess what today is? The one-year anniversary of the day the Red Sox won the World Series. I think I'll have to dig out my copy of Faithful. I have all offseason to dwell on what went wrong for the Astros, but anniversaries have this tendency to only happen once a year.

Even though it's the White instead of the Red Sox, I still can't see baseball kissing (http://news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&ncid=1756&e=1&u=/051027/483/hta19010270538) without thinking of you. ^____^

And even though it's the White Shite Sox, that photo is priceless. I especially like ths look on Guillen's face. Thanks for the link!

Same thing that went wrong for the Red Sox-White Sox pitching. :)

The pitching was not helpful IN THIS ONE SOLITARY SERIES, OF COURSE, LIGHTS OUT FOR THE REST OF THE POSTSEASON AND THEN COLLAPSINESS IN THE WS EXCEPT FOR BRANDON BACKE WHO GET COOKIES. It was our offense, in the end. We got zillions of baserunners and could. not. capitalize. Like the Red Sox, but multiplied by ten.

That's what I mean-White Sox pitching killed the offense, every offense in the post-season. :)

OK, the comments links about killed me. HiLARious. And the colors are nice... sort of reminds me of BCRS without the blue.

They seemed appropriate. =D

Oh, I know, after I finished tweaking I wandered over to BCRS and went, ". . . Huh."
