WOW ASTROS. Crazy game.

Astros leave 45473890534 men on base and win anyway, thanks to stellar pitching and key defense.

Tony La Russa gets ejected for arguing balls and strikes and promptly tries to kill the home ump.

Jim Edmonds is ejected for same, even though he was kinda right, and also tries to kill the ump. I do not know how Cuzzi escaped that game alive.

The ninth inning and throwing the guy out at home!

Morgan with the "But I totally called time! . . . I didn't? Well, I thought I did, and that should totally count! . . . Oh, it doesn't? Okay, then."

Sexiest lightning-fast double play EVAR. Half a second slower and we're in extra innings right now.

Final score: 2-1.

'Stros up 3-1 in the series.

One more win. One more. Come on, Astros.

I would like to close with the following statement from one of the geniuses at FOX sportscasting: "The umpires have been doing a pretty good job this year." Wow, what season has he been watching?

That was probably one of the hottest DPs I saw all year, which is saying something, since the Tigs had some involving both Brandon Inge and Carlos Pena.

The umpiring comment made me giggle so hard I almost choked on water. I mean, honestly now.
