Well, tonight's game was useless. I am sick of watching the Red Sox strand eighty-seven men on base every game. And I still don't like that so many of our runs tend to come from homerun RBIs. Homeruns are cool and all, but you can't rely on them like the Sox seem to, because what happens when there aren't any homers? You lose to the A's by two runs, that's what. Would really, really like to see more putting together runs with some hitting.

And why did MLBTV decide to assault my unsuspecting self with the YES feed when I decided to watch the end of the Yankees game? That's just mean.

There, you see, Red Sox? It is possible to leave the bases loaded twice and win anyway. The Tigers did it. Admittedly, they did it against the Devil Rays, but they did it. So squandering a billion loaded bases is no longer an excuse to lose.

3-4! Go Tigers!

Edited because Astros win their second consecutive shutout, 3-0! That's their third win in a row after a four-game losing streak. Gosh, now they're only eight games under .500! I didn't catch this game because Tigers, but I'll be watching tomorrow because Pettitte is pitching.

Wow, Bronson's taking his suspension and not pitching again till next Wednesday. That's too bad, because he looked really hot in the interview clip that's a long stretch between starts. And also I will miss him. Oh, well, it'll be fine.

Anyone know anything new about who's starting for the Sox tomorrow? Last I heard it was sounding pretty good for Wells, which yay, but I can't seem to find anything more about it.
