Varitek-Varitek-Varitek-Varitek-Varitek-VARITEK!

It has been SUCH a long wait. I was ready to kick his agent in the shins for jerking us all around.

BUT VARITEK HAS RE-SIGNED AND HE IS STAYING AND OH MY GOD I'M GOING TO DIE OF JOY.

There are no words for how happy I am. Tek has been my favourite player since before I'd quite figured the game out. In fact, I do believe I've said all this before.

This is the best Christmas present I could have ever imagined.

I love you, Tek.

And to think I was sitting in the bar just over an hour ago, wondering if it might be better luck to stop wearing my Varitek shirt, much like I haven't used my icon, until we knew one way or the other. I MUST HAVE FAITH IN THE SHIRT.

Well, I was going to wrap presents, but this house seems to not contain scissors. After I remembered to buy tape this afternoon, too.

Ah, well. I'll just do the wrapping tomorrow. I don't have a ton to do; not enough shopping time this year to buy multiple presents.
