Guess what movie I can't wait to see? Once Upon a Time in Mexico. Witness the cast list: Johnny Depp. Willem Dafoe. Salma Hayek. Antonio Banderas.

Plot? Who cares? Who needs it? Those four names promise such sex appeal that all they need to do to keep me happy is be in front of the camera for two hours. And if any given pair of them makes out a little, that'd be cool too. September twelfth, y'all. I've known about it for months and I can't wait.

And I really must write Willem/Johnny at some point...I had no idea they were in so much together! Four movies, including this one, I think. Cry Baby, Platoon and something else. And now I really want to see Cry Baby again. Which of course is not in any of my rental places *screams*

Yes, please write Willem/Johnny. I want Willem/Johnny. I don't write RPS because I'm anal enough when it comes to characterizing people who don't actually exist, but I would joyfully read someone else's.

And also, I have a bit of a soft spot for Antonio, since my primary exposure to him comes from Evita, which soundtrack I memorized years ago and I'm still as impressed as I was the first time to find that he can sing.

By the way, I wonder about actors who end up working together over and over. What's that like? I guess it's either, "Hey, what's up, nice to see you again!" or "Shit, I have to work with that asshole again?"

Anyway. Yes. Willem/Johnny, please. I hadn't realized they'd worked together before and so was hoping to see some after OUaTiM came out. I may spend the morning slightly fixated on the idea now.
