By the way, in case anyone cares, the Tigers game is on ESPN again tonight. =D

In case anyone else cares, the other game ESPN is carrying is the Red Sox game. I don't know which game is airing where, but either way is goodness.

I made an overdue laundromat trip, but no baseball zombie fic this time. I had something else to work on instead, which shall make its way onto my journal some time tonight. (Hint: ESPN.)

The Red Sox game was on ESPN here, but the Braves game was MUCH better. Down 3-4, Andruw Jones hit his 27th (!) homer of the year to put the Braves up 5-4 with no outs in the 7th. Then Jeff Francour, with his first ever major league hit, knocked it out of the park for a three-run homer with still no outs in the 7th. Then after the game, the TBS announcers were interviewing Francour. Meanwhile naughty, naughty Marcus Giles sneaked up on him with a towel full of shaving cream and shoved it in his face right in the middle of the interview! But it didn't stop there. Francour laughed, wiped the shaving cream off, and FINISHED THE INTERVIEW with shaving cream residue all over his neck and hair!!! What a trooper, but what a rookie. My Braves love has just increased tenfold.

Also, this hilarious Alan Embree quote regarding last night's "save" has endeared the evil chipmunk to me at least a little bit: "It was nice to get the opportunity," Embree said. "Warming up I was thinking: 'Here's your chance to make up for some of the crap you did earlier.' And you can print that."
