Yay I'm totally screwed! =D
I went out to the nearby Cumby's and talked to the manager, and he has no hours to spare this week. I have a feeling that may be a theme, because why not?
Good thing I have THREE FUCKING DAYS to search for a new fucking job. Not that I didn't want out of this one anyway, but it would have been nice to maybe have some leisure to find a new job that I might actually like.
Oh, who am I fucking kidding, I am so fucking lazy that I needed something like this to kick me in the ass. I'm like Dante in Clerks - I'll hatehatehate my job, but I won't do anything about it because it's easy and I'm comfortable.
But this SUCKS. I lived on my own as an adult for ONE LOUSY MONTH before my hours got cut, and now again? The very first time in my life I really genuinely cannot afford to lose any hours? What is this shit?
I'm going to pretend as hard as I can that it's the universe kicking me in my complacency, rather than some Darwinistic force reminding me that in harder times, my useless ass would have been dead a long time ago.
