Tomase can take his "Manny doesn't care" and shove it up his ample ass. So far today, Manny has: beat out an infield single, hustled to a ball and made another assist, and hit a grand slam. I love this man.

Man, it's hard to believe we were ever trying to get rid of him. I can't remember the situation in the '03-'04 offseason - was it that he was on waivers, or was he part of the almost-trade for the Princess? It was my very first offseason and I had no idea what was going on, so it's all muddled up in my brain now.
