And Yahoo! ever so thoughtfully surprises me with an ad for The Ring Two on the mail page. Looks like I won't be checking my e-mail for the next week.
Well, not really, because I've seen the trailer and I'm totally not impressed - and the poster? Yeah, when the best they can come up with is a Gothed-up version of the most famous image from the first movie, you know they got nothin' - but still. I do not appreciate having the ring jump at me out of my computer screen when I'm just minding my own damn business.
Which is a shame, because I strongly suspect that this movie is going to suck, and I so love sucky horror movies. Best not to risk it, though. Even though Emily Van Camp is there. Sigh.

I swear I opened my saved images folder one day and it was THERE. BUT I DID NOT SAVE IT.
as an aside, yes, it's going to suck. apparently this time they didn't even bother trying to stick to the story from the japanese version, it's all american.
