Roleplay meme!

milliways_bar or
mixed_muses. I cannot do this for regular fandom because my brain doesn't work that way and I can't remember my past characters well enough to do it. If you disregard this and it makes me cranky enough, I might just delete your comment. I'm getting a little tired of people ignoring the roleplay aspect of these memes when I do them.
A, of course, can qualify as a fanfic question too, so that one's open to everyone.
A. Has my portrayal of a character(s) changed the way you think of him/her?
B. Pick one of my characters and I'll answer the following questions about him or her. I reserve the right to omit questions that I think are stupid, that I can't quantify for the character in question, or that look at me funny.
1. What would your character kill for? What would they die for?
2. What would they refuse to do under any circumstances? Why?
3. What do they dream about?
4. What’s their biggest fear?
5. What single object would they be most hard pressed to part with? Why?
6. What is their fondest memory?
7. What is their worst memory?
8. What or who was were their most significant influence? Expound.
9. What do they believe makes a successful life?
10. What makes them laugh?
11. What are their religious views?
12. What is their greatest strength?
13. Do they have a fatal flaw? If so, what is it?
14. Who is the most important person in their life?
15. If they died, who would miss them most? How would they die?

1. What would your character kill for? What would they die for?
Both are the same: the right and obligation to tell the truth. He was, in fact, prepared to die for that very thing.
2. What would they refuse to do under any circumstances? Why?
Cal will never again tell a lie designed to allow harm to come to other people, or stand by silently while such lies are told. Getting caught in that trap turned him into the one person he never wanted to be and made his life a living hell.
3. What do they dream about?
Being able to make things okay for everything. Under the surface of that is the desire to make up for all the damage he did before, which he doesn't believe he'll ever be able to do.
4. What’s their biggest fear?
Anything happening to his son.
7. What is their worst memory?
Getting shot and almost killed, and watching the love of his life get murdered. That sucked a lot.
8. What or who was were their most significant influence? Expound.
Ultimately, Cal's most significant influence has been himself. His family have left a lot of deep scars that informed his decisions for a long time, but it was Cal and only Cal who made the choice to stop being a man he hated. He was absolutely alone in that, and in the subsequent uphill battle to stick to it. (Yeah, there was Calvin, but a three year old is a reason, not a source of support.) The things that make him who he is now are things he did for himself.
12. What is their greatest strength?
Cal has a lot of inner strength, which is a nicely redundant answer, but all the strength in the world is useless without the courage to use it. Cal has basically a limitless supply of courage (because if you're going to get ahead in his world without being an amoral douchebag, that's what you need), and it's what ended up making the difference for him.
13. Do they have a fatal flaw? If so, what is it?
With great courage comes great stubbornness. Pretty much any version of Cal anywhere is incredibly stubborn, and that doesn't really do him any favors.
