Roleplay meme!

milliways_bar or
mixed_muses. I cannot do this for regular fandom because my brain doesn't work that way and I can't remember my past characters well enough to do it. If you disregard this and it makes me cranky enough, I might just delete your comment. I'm getting a little tired of people ignoring the roleplay aspect of these memes when I do them.
A, of course, can qualify as a fanfic question too, so that one's open to everyone.
A. Has my portrayal of a character(s) changed the way you think of him/her?
B. Pick one of my characters and I'll answer the following questions about him or her. I reserve the right to omit questions that I think are stupid, that I can't quantify for the character in question, or that look at me funny.
1. What would your character kill for? What would they die for?
2. What would they refuse to do under any circumstances? Why?
3. What do they dream about?
4. What’s their biggest fear?
5. What single object would they be most hard pressed to part with? Why?
6. What is their fondest memory?
7. What is their worst memory?
8. What or who was were their most significant influence? Expound.
9. What do they believe makes a successful life?
10. What makes them laugh?
11. What are their religious views?
12. What is their greatest strength?
13. Do they have a fatal flaw? If so, what is it?
14. Who is the most important person in their life?
15. If they died, who would miss them most? How would they die?

1. What would your character kill for? What would they die for?
Javert is prepared to both kill and die in the line of duty. He would never go out intending to kill, but there are circumstances in which an officer of the law is left no other option. He also understands that his line of work is dangerous, and he could die at any moment, and he isn't afraid of that.
2. What would they refuse to do under any circumstances? Why?
Break the law. Never. Nevernevernever. I feel that the "why" is self-evident: because he is Javert. This answer is, of course, subject to change according to canon. Or whatever might come up in Milliways, man, you never know.
3. What do they dream about?
Javert would most like a world in which his job is unnecessary. Nobody breaking any law ever would be his very favorite thing. Even if it would leave him completely at loose ends. He doesn't care much about that - an orderly society is infinitely more important.
4. What’s their biggest fear?
Finding that he has broken a law. (Yeah, he really doesn't have a whole lot of dimension at this point.)
5. What single object would they be most hard pressed to part with? Why?
His walking stick/cudgel. Just because he isn't afraid to die doesn't mean he's gonna make it any easier to kill him than it has to be.
*skips questions about memories because canon fails abjectly in that department and I can't even answer questions like that for myself, let alone someone who doesn't exist*
8. What or who was were their most significant influence? Expound.
"Expound"? Who wrote this, my twelfth grade English teacher? We once attended a play that had a special Q&A session afterward. My teacher asked one of the actors a question, and when the guy had finished answering it, my teacher said, "Say more." And I almost died trying not to laugh right out loud.
All of which is to say, PASS.
Actually, I think I'm about done here. Every answer is a variation on the law and the breaking thereof, because he's not that interesting at this point and won't gain, like, a personality until much later. Sorry.
