Last year, I issued a request for crossover challenges, and wrote snippets for them. I got damn near all of them done (I never finish every challenge for these things, I'm afraid; some of them just don't gel for me) and had a lot of fun. So I'm gonna do another round.
Pick a crossover of fandoms from this list - I'm willing to try a fandom not on the list (no, Alex, not that one), as long as a) I'm familiar with it and b) you can offer a specific thing you're looking for - and you can offer a scenario too, if you want. I might use it, I might use part of it, I might use someone else's instead, I might ignore it altogether, but go ahead and throw one out there.
Supernatural
Buffy
Angel
Les Miserables
Doctor Who
Torchwood
The Sarah Jane Adventures
Dollhouse
Gossip Girl
The Fix
Ultraviolet
Red Dwarf

*nods* And even if he *did* still have a thing for Cal - Cal would have an escape route instead of feeling trapped by it, and of course there'd be no reason for him to use it and reinforce it to try to establish any kind of hold over Grahame.

This is all very true. And of course Cal only ever knew in the first place, Millicanonically anyway, because Reed told him. Probably a Cal raised on Serenity would be far more observant, but he still wouldn't be looking for that kind of thing in his uncle. And without that reinforcement, yeah, it probably would fade.

Hee. For someone so stereotypically *fabulous* he really fails at fashion, doesn't he?
Also, if it ever did come out (ahem) Zoe would threaten to shoot Grahame lots. In a very calm, very serious voice, whilst pointing at least one weapon at him. I hear that kinda kills the passion a bit.

Heh. Grahame would be like, "I don't actually need to be threatened into keeping my completely humiliating fuckedupness to myself, but thanks." Only phrased in a more Grahame sort of way.
