Date: 2008-12-28 10:46 pm (UTC)Jonathan Pryce has always been, for me in terms of musicals, the Engineer from Miss Saigon. He was just so excellently slimy in that film, and the movie version of Evita didn't make enough of an impression on me that I really ... I don't know. I would have put Gunton's performance above Pryce's, weird-ass accent and all, if only because I prefer his voice tone in the role over Pryce's.
