Supernatural.

Yep, that's about where I expected it to end. Don't even comment telling me you're surprised, because I will point and laugh at you. Of COURSE it was going to end with Dean in hell and Sam a shocked, sobbing mess. Kripke likes to fuck with us. Dude's off chortling in glee right now.

Also, creepy children get me every time, even though I couldn't stop thinking, "Watch it, there, you're gonna get your ass sent to the cornfield." I love the idea of keeping a family living in utter terror as being like a vacation for a demon. Just relaxing, no hassles, no schedules of tormenting souls to keep to or new souls to pick up. Just chilling and terrorizing a select few at your leisure. Good times.

That was a fine finale and I look forward to watching fandom flail all summer. I also look forward to watching some of the early season one eps again, because Jesus with the angst and the relentless misery already. I love the way the show builds on itself and has gradually become more and more complicated - anyone else wanna join me in keeping a flow chart next season? 'Cause if the trend continues, we're gonna need it - but I kinda miss the show that was just about a couple of brothers kicking evil supernatural ass and looking for their dad. I'm glad I chose that era of the show to set my crossover with Dead and Breakfast; I look forward to just writing Sam and Dean and not having a bunch of misery and horror to keep straight.
