Okay, so I don't want people to freak out, because I'm doing that enough for everyone right now, but I'm heading into the ER shortly. My heart's been behaving a little strangely for a while now - it took me a while to even notice it. Then it finally popped into my head as something to worry about Friday night, and I have been worrying ever since. I was going to hold out to make an appointment with my doctor tomorrow (naturally, this is the weekend of Patriot's Day, a weird holiday that only Maine and Mass observe, so he's closed today), but now my chest is hurting. Probably from stressing the fuck out for two days straight, but this is pretty much the one thing I don't want to screw around with. So, my grandmother's coming to pick me up, and in I go. I'll post when I get back from being told to seriously just relax and maybe cut back on the caffeine. And getting stuck with a giant bill for the privilege, since OF COURSE my insurance ran out in January.

Don't worry, it's probably just a psychosomatic reaction to the 2008 Tigers and Red Sox. There's a reason people call them the Cardiac Kids!

(But seriously. *hugs* and *good vibes* your way...)

Might just be a pulled muscle or something. Hope everything works out!

:: hugs for Cathryn! :: I'll be thinking about you :( And crossing my fingers that you come home with just the "relax and no more caffeine" thing. I'm glad you're doing something about it, though. Definitely don't put off things like that.

I'll be looking forward to your next post.

You're going to be amazed at what laying off the caffeine will do. I had the same thing happen to me a few years ago, went off the stuff for about nine months, and was awesome again.
