Aw geez, I thought Warren Ellis made this up. It's certainly as parodic and ridiculous as anything else in Transmet.
Had my first two classes today. Yay for being back in school! I had Spanish I, which I need because I took Spanish in middle school and high school, but that was a million years ago. I can read Spanish on a fairly basic level, but I can't write it or speak it much anymore. Not that I was exactly fluent in the first place, but even what little I had, I've lost. I want to get back in practice, but I have to start back at the beginning to refresh my memory. I also had Intro to Sociology, which, judging from the two-person project and the OUTLINE NOTES required for each chapter, is being taught by some hellish amalgamation of my eighth grade teachers. God, first a shitty Psych teacher and now this. I got really, really lucky with the amazing teacher I had for Human Behavior in high school, didn't I?
Next up: Contemporary Math and Intro to Literature. And I really hope those copies of Huckleberry Finn sitting in the campus bookstore next to our texts aren't meant for us. (Sorry, Mandy.) I've read it twice, man, isn't that enough for one lifetime?
