. . . I just found incest slash for The Patriot.

I just found a LOT of incest slash for The Patriot.

. . .

o_O <-- one of the few times I've ever needed a Japanese emoticon to express myself

It's not bad or anything . . . and you know I have no objection whatever to incestfic . . . But The Patriot?

My reaction too, pretty much

Of course, I then sighed with relief that only one of them involved Mel Gibson's character.

But yeah. It wasn't exactly the subtextiest of movies...

Plus, Gregory Smith looks, like, twelve. I know his character's fourteen, and I know he was about that age, but he still looks twelve. It's just unsettling.

Which is a shame, because the story I read was quite well-written, plus the author is responsible for my favourite A Knight's Tale story.

There's that, too. I'd forgotten how young he looks. It's odd, because I have no objection to HP slash at all, and given the ages of the characters in the movies who are pretty much the only visual reference (coupled with the fact I don't have mental images of characters before movies so I'm rarely disappointed in those things) I feel like I should, but it's...different.

That is a shame.

Oh, and I'm really glad to hear you'll be staying over here. Someone on my friends list brought their entries from (I think) a blog over and just posted them, so you could do that, maybe. Just a suggestion.
