Man, it's funny: while you were bewailing the loss of Nomar in '04, I at the same time was sundering all ties to the Twinkies over the same damn trade because of what they did to my boy Dougie M. (and I don't mean Mirabelli, mind you). You seem to have recovered from Nomar's departure but I still hate the Twins and wish for them to be contracted. (oh how much it disgusts me that they're winning again!)

I don't think the trade deadline will kill me dead as much as it usually does this year. I don't see as much good in trading Greg Maddux or Miguel Tejada (the two players on my teams being bandied about for trading) as some might, but I also confess I'm not as emotionally attached to those two as I am to others on the same two teams, and while I may gripe about it if it happens I'm not going to be quite as upset as I have been in past years, for which I am thankful.

There have been some moves on other teams which have made me go "WTF?" but that's another thing entirely, of course. Trade deadlines will never be easy for me at any rate; I definitely hear you about that.
