I am so embarrassed that I just learned on freaking Soxaholix that parts of my state are flooded. I am such a bad Mainer.

This weather is ridiculous, though. It didn't rain much yesterday, but it's sure making up for it right now. I don't mind the rain as much as some people do, but it's starting to seem like this is never going to end, plus now I'm worried about much damage will be done before the end of the week.

Also, I am concerned enough to say to the folks I regularly IM with: if I disappear, no doubt it's the weather interfering with the power or the cable. Not to worry.

Ugh, I have to go out in this and catch a bus to an advisement session at college that I'm going to be late for because I overslept (that'll teach me to be up till almost four when four is about how many hours of sleep I got the night before). I don't mind being wet, I haven't ever since a camping event where I got stuck outside in the rain for seven hours (spending twenty minutes waiting for a bus in the rain is no big deal after that), but my jacket is made of wool and it will stay wet, heavy, and smelly for a week.

Wow, add me to the list of bad Mainers. I had no idea.

My entire region is flooded, basically. It's fun times!

But mostly I just wanted to say, 800 points for that icon.

It's been raining off and on here for, like, a week. And it's gonna be raining in Cleveland until Thursday. And for the upcoming homestand, it's supposed to be raining all week or so. >:\
