In less disturbing news, you know my resolution to avoid all things Red Sox/Yankees today? Yeah, not so much. The aforementioned coworker Juanita is a Yankee fan, so of course we had to listen. Great game. Exactly what I needed to take my mind off the various Lifetime movie-of-the-week fodder goings-on of the day. I'm too scattered right now to have much to say, but I enjoyed the Yankees' pitching almost as much as I enjoyed the Keystone Kops they had on the field. What was that, six unearned runs? Hee.

14-3. Sweet.

I bet the one at [livejournal.com profile] yankeesfans is funnier. Mmm, schadenfreude. (Although, the more upset they get there, the sharper their humor. They do bleak, bitter sarcasm so well. There are some funny, funny people there.)

I did read through their thread, and it was funny, but not because the comments were witty. It was pretty much dominated by obscenities and vague threats to Randy Johnson rather than anything really clever. But then, the posts tail off rather sharply after about the 4th inning. :D
