lol Yankees whut.

"Thank you for expressing your concerns," the sign stated. "We are sorry that certain players will not be present for portions of spring training. These players have elected to participate in the World Baseball Classic. The World Baseball Classic is an event sanctioned by the commissioner of Major League Baseball and the Major League Baseball Players Association. The New York Yankees did not vote to support this event. Any comments you have regarding the World Baseball Classic should be directed to the commissioner of Major League Baseball or the Major League Baseball Players Association."

Wow. I bet Jeter and Co. must be feelin' the love. I mean, I hate having some crucial members of my teams open themselves up to injury like this, but it's nice that their teams support, or at least are resigned to, their decisions to go. Honestly, only the Yankees organization would spit on their premiere players like that. This is another example of the famed Yankees Class, right? Nice, guys.

I knoooow. Hell, it makes me want to buy a WBC shirt and cheer every team discriminately instead of hiding and praying until it's over. And because I sort of like Jeter (shut up) it makes me want to drag him over to any of one of my teams and go, "See what it's like when your organization doesn't HATE YOU FOR HAVING A MIND OF YOUR OWN?"

*FROTHS WITH RAGE*

WHAT MONUMENTAL ASSHATS. OH WELL, this is the same organization who has a multimedia propaganda TV network of its very own that considers the 1996 ALCS Game One a "Yankees Classic" and worthy of reairing. I GUESS THIS IS JUST TO BE EXPECTED.

(Why no, I'm not still bitter about J*****y FUCKING M***r, not at all!!)

*breaks things*
