Hey, could you Lions fans out there who know what the hell you're talking about provide me with ammo for defending poor Joey Harrington? I've gotten myself in this argument twice this month and would like to be able to say stuff that makes sense and not have to fall back on declaring Jeff Garcia the Johnny Damon of football, ie, cannot throw for shit, and even that I got from [livejournal.com profile] beckla30 bitching during the game against the Packers. Help?

I know the game is over but for future reference, Joey Harrington's biggest strength is his arm. He has a rocket arm and when he's on he's accurate. His biggest problem has been wide receiver injuries and his inability to scramble and make things up. Garcia has proven his arm strength is weak. The only thing Garcia has going for him is that he can improvise and has great mobility. Good in tight situations, but you have to be able to throw the ball downfield. Garcia cannot, Harrington can. Hope that helps you a bit.

Plus Joey is way cuter and nicer and Jeff's not ;P
