Ooooh, good day.
Finally saw Serenity, which kicked SO MUCH ASS both as a movie and as a continuation of the Firefly story. Summer Glau is the Queen of Everything. And that is probably as specific as I should get without a cut.
Was all productive on the domestic being-a-grownup front. I went grocery shopping, which I don't do often because I haaaaaate it, and I discovered that the shabby little grocery store that I shop at only because it's within walking from my house actually carries coconut milk. (I also discovered that the cashiers consider it perfectly acceptable to bag veggies with raw meat, but let's not dwell.) Then I went to the laundromat. That's two boring stupid chores in one day! I am such an adult!
Then I came back home and watched Roy Oswalt be studly all over the place and the offense back him up with a bit of run support. Chris Burke, he of the walkoff homer during the Sunday Ordeal, scored a run and got an RBI. Final score of 4-1, with the series tied at one and going to Houston. Roger Clemens will be pitching Saturday, so it's a good thing I am working and will not have to resist the temptation to watch. Now is not a good time to bring my anti-Clemens mojo into things.
