Wow, the Astros/Braves game sounds like it was absolutely insane. I'm sorry I missed it. I'll have to check it out on MLBTV.

The Astros won it 7-3 (and I discovered that I was able to check the scores on my cell phone at work, which is so dangerous for my cell phone bill, but playoffs are a time to make exceptions), which puts them up 2-1 in the series. One more win, boys. Let's do this shit. Brandon Backe is starting tomorrow against Tim Hudson, who sucked in Game One and will be pitching on three days' rest. Interesting. AND I'll be able to watch it, since I have tomorrow off! Yay!

Oh it definitely was absolutely insane.

I don't think the article mentioned my favorite part of the game.

So in the top of the 2nd inning (I think) there were runners on 1st and 2nd with no out. The Braves player hit a grounder to third. Ensberg grabs it and tags the bag to get out the lead runner and throws quickly and sloppily to first. Mike Lamb has to move off the bag to the front in order to catch it. So he catches it and the batter is running REALLY hard and he runs RIGHT INTO Lamb, trying to knock him over. So Lamb bascially just plants himself and stays standing and the poor Braves batter like flips through the air. It was just hilarious to watch. Oh man, so fun.

I love this team. I'm going to move to Texas just so I can watch them.
