Please don't fuck up my Astros. Also, if you could try not to kill people, that would be great too.

Seriously. My biggest worry about Rita is not, like, the people in its path, but the fact that it might go through Houston and screw up Minute Maid Park. How fucked are my priorities?
At least the Astros are away this weekend. If Rita does hit, they'll be way elsewhere.
I think this just shows the extent to which baseball has poisoned my brain. Everything is about baseball, especially right now with two of my teams holding precarious leads. Everything I think of is in the context of baseball. I remember during the postseason last year I took time out to watch some Red Dwarf, and was amazed by how good it felt to think about something else for a bit. I think I'll need to do that again this year.
Or possibly it just reveals me as a shallow, horrible human being. Either way. =P
