* The Braves are totally useless. Sure, guys, beat the crap out of my 'Stros, then wimp out against the Phillies. Thanks for the help with that wild card race, 'preciate it lots. Tools.
Baseball things that rule:
* The Tigers actually won a game! 4-2 over the Twins! And what's more? We scored the go ahead run after loading the bases! Yeah, that's right, the Tigers loaded the bases and capitalized. Fuckin' A.
* David Ortiz and his tie-breaking homeruns. He did it again. That's, what, number eighty-seven on the season? Holy cow. Final score: 5-3.

* Roger Clemens's mother died this morning. He elected to go ahead with his start, saying that he would be pitching in her honor. The game isn't over yet, but he came out after six and a third innings, having given up one run and five hits. Not a bad memorial outing at all.
