And now, in a complete one-eighty, I present you with Fake People Fic! [livejournal.com profile] kleenexwoman requested George/Marty.

DISCLAIMER: Back to the Future was created by Robert Zemeckis and Bob Gayle. Has nothing to do with me.

WARNING: Why, yes, that does mean that the below drabble contains implied incest intended to desecrate your fond childhood memories! Enjoy!

Marty waits for years for George to remember. He has to, Marty thinks, he can't have just forgotten that night in 1955. Thirty years isn't that long. A hundred years wouldn't be long enough.

He is ever aware, searching for hints in George's conduct, maybe something in the shape of lingering eye contact or a lengthy hug, maybe something smaller than that. He tries it himself, even, initiating borderline appropriate contact, and gets nothing, not even the slightest blink.

Never once in those years of waiting does it occur to him that a lack of reaction can speak for itself.

Ooooh man, it's hard to believe you once hung with my brother, even if only through mutual friends. Erotic fanfic and other such fetishes (Like my things for furries) gets him all nervous and riled up.

I, for one, find it awesome/entertaining/hilarious. Especially real people slash.

Thanks to the internet, I've even seen drawn pics of Rummy/Dubya slash. Felt disgusted and then...laughed. Just laughed.

Also, shaun of the dead for the win.

Heh. Well, it was just a couple of times; I think one of the only reasons I remember him better than most acquaintances is because I kept running into him through people that I knew. Nicole, our friend Betsey, my friend Rikki, these kids I knew through GSA meetups between Portland and Yarmouth . . . it was weird.

And you know, one of the best parts about being a George/Marty shipper is how people react. It is hysterical.

Yay Shaun of the Dead! I saw it three times when it was at the Nick and then practically counted the days till the DVD release. *g*

This doesn't relate to this post, but I wanted to let you know in case you didn't see it in [livejournal.com profile] offspeed's journal...

She's doing the three interest/pairing meme. So I went in and at first I picked the three interests and Bondo/Tek. Then, I got a little more creative with Bondo/Tek/Farns. :) So as she said, "we'll see" what happens with this.

Just had to share. I figured you would be among the people to appreciate the humor of this. :)

Whee!
I like this. Different perspective on a practically fanon event...and just on the border of angsty. Very well-done.

(will you post this on [livejournal.com profile] bttf_slash plz?)

Thanks. I wanted to try a different angle. I hope I sufficiently got across the possibility that George does, in fact, remember but is restraining himself - I fought with that last sentence for like twenty minutes and even resorted to consulting the AppleWorks thesaurus. Well, whatever came across, I'm glad you liked.

I shall post to [livejournal.com profile] bttf_slash shortly. =D
