on one hand, i'm like, trusting that D² did what he had to and trading farnsy was a necessary move to improve the team. on the other hand, i'm like, WTF.

i'm hearing that we had no chance of resigning him, that he wasn't even going to entertain the three year offer D² put out there. if that's the case, then i'm glad we dealt him because i'd rather get something for him if we're not going to be able to keep him. but then part of me wonders if maybe he jumped the gun and could have gotten farnsworth at the end of the season.

i don't know. i trust dave to make the right decisions for the team. i hope this was one of them.
